NAMI Lighthouse Project
Pius XI is now in partnership with the Lighthouse Project from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). We have a dedicated coordinator, Adrianne Busch, who will work to connect our students and families to mental health services and support.
Craig Yabuki Mental Health Walk-in Clinic
The Craig Yabuki Mental Health Walk-In Clinic at Children’s WI provides same-day care for children and teens (ages 5-18) who are experiencing urgent mental health issues. The clinic is designed to offer an alternative to traditional urgent care and emergency room services.

Talent Incentive Program Grants (TIP)
The TIP grant aids low-income and disadvantaged Wisconsin students with additional college funding to help reduce the student’s amount of loan, work-study, or unmet need. https://dpi.wi.gov/weop/tip-grant.
Herb Kohl Foundation - Student Excellence Application
The Herb Kohl Excellence Scholarship program aims to recognize student leadership, citizenship, school and community involvement, and academic achievement. The Herb Kohl Educational Foundation's goal is to encourage Wisconsin youth to pursue post-secondary education in a public or private two-year or four-year college or university.
The Foundation awards $10,000 scholarships to 100 Wisconsin high school graduates each year. Applicants must be graduating high school students who intend to enroll in a postsecondary institution, which may be a public or private two-year or four-year college or university. Applications are due by 5:00pm central time on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Information and a link to the application can be found here.

Juniors will take the ACT on March 12th. Click here for ACT test-prep resources. Freshmen & Sophomores will take the PreACT on March 26th. Click here for practice tests.
ACT Prep: Pius XI will offer ACT Prep for Juniors in Winter 2024. The 7 week prep course will be held in the evenings with one Saturday course. Dates & times TBD. The cost will be $50 per student, and the rest will be funded through ESEA Title IV. More info to come later this semester.
Additionally, UWM offers ACT Prep in the fall and winter. Click here for more details.
